Phuket hotels – advance or walk-in?
My girlfriend and I are traveling to Thailand during the peak season (January) and will stay in Phuket for 3 nights; in Phuket we want to stay in either Karon or Patong Beach. Is it better to book ahead of time, online or do a “walk-in” reservation upon my arrival? I want to get a good deal (no more than 2,700 Baht/night) but also want a nice hotel room. Advice?
During the high season you book in advance to get the resort you want. Also if you are staying at any resort 3 star or up they will charge more for walk-in than booking online.
