Debit/Cheque/Cash?
My boyfriend and I leave for Thailand in 38 days!! We have hotels and such arranged, now my question is…will we have problems cashing travellors cheques (Canada). We will be in Pattaya,Phuket,Krabi and Bangkok. (3 weeks). I know alot of people are telling me to bring my debit, but i’m scared it might not work or something will go wrong with it and won’t have backup.
I was planning on bringing $2000 Travellors Cheques,$100 cash (transfer to baht), and also my debit.
What does everyone think?
Also, will a currency booth be open very early in the morning at the Bangkok airport(new one).
in bangkok they will exchange ur travellers cheks anywhere..like hotels,restaurants..
