Train doesn’t go to Phuket so rule that out. Government Bus from the Southern Bus Terminal takes about 12 hours to Phuket cost is based on the type of bus you take, 32 or 24 passenger bus will be anywhere around 900 to 1,000 baht for one way trip. If you take one of those orange color buses it cost less but you stop everywhere to pick up and drop off passengers, it’s cheaper but it takes forever to get there.
