We want to honeymoon in thailand, probably phuket… has anyone done this? we would like some where that we can easily access a lot of water sports as well as markets, resturants, bars… any ideas, websites? things to do and see? just any info good or bad. thank-you.

The nicest area for a honeymoon, IMHO, would be if you stayed in the Laguna complex (Bang Tao beach area). The only drawback is that it is about 30 minutes or so to Patong, which is the main nightlife area on Phuket island. Other options would include Kata or Karon (very nice beaches), or even Surin (my favorite beaches on the island).
Phi Phi islands are a must.
