Phuket information needed…plz help?
If I hire a local taxi to visit the following places in phuket city how much will it cost???
Kata, Karon and Patong beaches,
Kata View Point,
Promthep cape, and
Chalong Temple.
I will be in Mariott hotel.
Well first off all, if you are staying at the JW Marriott then you in a bad situation. The hotel is located on the northern part of Phuket, past the airport and just before Sarisan Bridge that connects Phuket to the mainland.
All the places you mentioned are on the opposite side of the island, your probably better off hiring the hotel limo.
Metered taxi from the airport to Patong is about 600 baht. From the Marriott I would add 100 bath on top of that.
You can probably hire a private car for about 4,000 baht all day.
