If I am still in the US and want to go to Thailand, does anyone have a rough estimate of what it will cost?
Passports, plane, visas, ect. I want to teach english and take the TEFL course in phuket, Thailand. Thank You.
Passport and visa are not a big cost, why worry about the small stuff. The thing you need to realized is you need to come here complete your training (TEFL) and find a job then go to KL and get a Type B Visa and then a work permit so you can work in Thailand. Your flight can cost from about $1,500 to $2,000. To teach English here you need a degree in Teaching or a degree in any other area and TEFL. You can find the cost of TEFL courses online, they do have course in Phuket.
