Has anyone been to KARON BEACH, PHUKET, THAILAND??
If so i have a few questions i need help with. My family and i are planing to go there next year and we are looking at staying at the MOVENPICK RESORT in the middle of Karon Beach. My questions are:
1. Do you kno this resort?
2. If so is it easier to find plaes to eat out of the hotel?
3. Did you every travel to Patong Beach at night?
4. If so how? Was it safe?
If you have any other tips about holidaying there or anything you want to say please tell me.
We are torn between Movenpick Karon Beach and Banthai Resort Patong Beach.

I haven’t stayed at that hotel but have stayed at Karon abit.
2. Yes, there are heaps of great place to eat a Karon.
3. Yes, with TukTuks (they are everywhere and cost about 150 baht)
4. Very safe, it did it several times while drunk and vulnerable and was always fine.
If your torn then avoid paying for it all upfront only pay for a few night then you can change your mind or find somewhere better and usually cheaper if you pay in person.
Don’t stress to much about it if your paying more then 300baht a night then you be in luxury.
