Phuket Ghosts Tsunami

What’s a good way to cleanse a house of bad energy associated with the 2004 tsunami?

My husband and I found our dream house on the tropical island of Phuket right on the beach. Since we’ve moved in though, there have been a series of small accidents and misfortunes, and both me and our 3 year old daughter have been having nightmares, mine about a young ghost boy in dirtied white clothes with brown hair and black eyes. This morning my husband wondered out loud if this house was around during the 2004 tsunami that killed 3700 people on the island–it turns out it was. The house was completely underwater during the tsunami though the landlady won’t tell us if there were any occupants at the time. This area of the island was very hard hit and sustained massive damage.
My question is is there any way to cleanse the house of bad energy associated with this? I don’t know if I am dealing with a specific ghost or just a bad energy associated with the tragedy. Even talking about it is giving me goosebumps!

I only disagree slightly with the other answer about using white sage. White sage is for minor cleansings, not major ones. For major ones, use the mother of all stinky incense, asafoetida. It completely nullifies negative energies and no spirits will remain after you burn it. I would not recommend it unless there is major negativity or a negative haunting… which, for some reason, people in on Answers seem to have a lot of hauntings. I don’t know why, but if they’re serious, they’ll use serious business.

You’ll want to treat this like a fumigation for a major infestation. Get your family out of the house, and open all the windows and doors. Cover your face with a dust mask. After you have burned this incense, LEAVE for a day or two. Bathe immediately after, using sea salt in the water. Then come back, wash all your windows, walls, doors, cabinets, fixtures with ammonia and water. (Wash all your linens too!) THEN burn white sage or frankincense (they smell MUCH better.) After that, no lingering scent of asafoetida should remain.

Otherwise, HIRE someone to cleanse the place for you.

Is Phuket a real place? (Googles…) Why yes it is… sounds like F@@K it.
