Will I have enough time to catch a Flight to Phuket?
My Flight reaches Bangkok at 6.15PM and my flight to Phuket is at 9.15 PM. In the meantime i need to get Visa on arrival and clear Immigration and then check in. I’ve been to Bangkok before so am familiar with the processes. I think its gonna be touch n go and worst if the flight to Bangkok gets delayed. However, need to ask a few things:
(1) abt 1.5 hrs for visa + Immigration…. that’s enough??
(2) Am arriving at BKK International Airport. Flyin to Phuket on Air Asia, it’s from the same airport, isn’t it?? Diff terminals?? how muh time will i need to transit the terminals ???
(3) Should i take the risk?
You should have plenty of time as long as your flight into BKK isn’t delayed and Air Asia does fly in and out of Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Suvarnabhumi Airport has only one big terminal and it only takes about 5 minutes to walk from where you clear customs to where the check in counters for all airlines are located, upstairs a couple of levels and on the opposite end of the terminal. The amount of time it takes to clear immigration will depend on how many other international flights arrive around the same time your flight does, but even if it’s very crowded you should be fine.
