Phuket weather in late August/early September?
I’ve been reading endless websites about the rain in Phuket during September. How bad is the rain? This is my first time traveling to Thailand and I was really hoping to visit the Phi Phi island to snorkel for the first time and do some kayaking, on top of sightseeing and shows. I am just worried that I’ll be stuck in the hotel room for the entire time (I’ll be going for about 4-5days). Can someone give me an honest answer?
If early September is bad (I was thinking 9/3-9/8), I can bump up my trip to late August (between 8/20 and 9/3) – would that be better??
Please help!
The rain in Thailand is not generally continuous downpours…you will get may be a few hours…usually at night and then the sky is clear….wouldn’t worry too..
