What things should I do while in Phuket – Thailand? I only have about 8 days?
What islands to should I visit, where are the best shopping, best food places. Is it worth while in hiring a jeep for day trips?
It is good to rent a jeep. it might be cheaper than taking a taxi/tuk tuk. plus you get to see more places, places tourist don get to go. soak into the culture. Not all activities are in the west of phuket near Patong, Karon & Kata beach. some quieter much more senic beach are in Rawai and the view at the south called Promthep is ohh so beautiful. when you are there, check out with the locals for a hill top cafe/restuarant. the ice coffee is the meanest with the coolest ambience. go downtown, a place mainly for the locals, try the cusine there. a much cheaper place to dine with the not so touristy prices. there is just so much more you can do with transportation. do think about it.
