i would like to go from bangkok to Koh phangan and then to Krabi?
It does seem a little complicated but does anyone have any advise for me. I want to travel down to KL after Koh Phangan and going via Phuket appears to be the best route as I can pick up a flight from there.
You can either fly to Koh Samui or Surat Thani or take a bus or train to Surat Thani and then travel by boat to Koh Phangan, although flying to Koh Samui from BKK can be on the expensive side. Check AirAsia, One Two Go Airlines and Thai Airways to Surat Thani, Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways are the only airlines that fly to Koh Samui from BKK. From Surat Thani it’s easy enough to catch a bus to Krabi and from Krabi it’s very easy to get to the Phuket Airport by bus or taxi for a flight to KL, I believe AirAsia flies from Krabi to KL if you don’t want to travel to Phuket. It’s not too complicated, have fun.
