I am going to Thailand in November & still haven’t booked accommodation…?
We (myself & 4 friends – all early 20’s) am going to Koh Samui for 4 nights, then Phuket for 9 & finishing in Bangkok for 2 nights. I suppose we are on a budget to a degree but I was thinking because we are staying at Phuket for majority of our stay we should stay we should pay abit more to stay at a nice place in prime location. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions…I was looking at Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort in Phuket as it looks beautiful & its very much a ‘resort’ feel. And suggestions for Koh Samui & Bangkok would also be a great help.

It is really depend on how you wanna spend your holiday… like..if you want accommodation just for keeping your stuff and spend your day mostly outside of hotel, then you no need gorgeous one but rather choose reason price in heart of city as it will be convince for you for transportation. On the other hand, if you wanna stay quietly beautiful private beach to enjoy sun tanning and swimming and hotel facility, then you looking for something a bit more.. don’t try to go too cheap because you cannot go there often (I guess) and you would be disappoint and it will spoil your all vacation.
