patong merlin, phuket?
if you have stayed at this hotel can you give me a brief overview of how your stay was?
It’s a basic three star hotel room. The problem is it is across the road from the beach, and its not as simple as just crossing the road, its a very busy road with lots of people trying to sell you stuff, so dont think you can just hop up in your swimmers and run down to the beach! i would recommend the KataThani, one of the junior suites. They all have ocean view, the hotel is right on the beach and its only a 300thb ride right into patong nightlife if thats what you want. Merlin is nice, but it just doesnt have the same peaceful secluded resort feeling.
