We are planning to go to Phuket on our Honeymoon in June. Is it a good time of the year to be there?
We are planning to stay on Patong Beach in Amari Coral Beach Resort. Does anybody have any comments or suggestions?

I traveled there this christmas and it is absolutely beautiful! Patong beach is very nice as are most beaches around the area but you have to visit Phi Phi island. If you have ever watched the movie “The Beach”, this is where they filmed it, just amazing scenery. If you plan on going in town be prepared for people all over trying to sell you things left and right, which can be fun, but gets annoying pretty quick. I would say to avoid most of the “massage” places unless you are told they are reputable. The food is extremely cheap and very good! Have fun!
