Phuket Tsunami?
Visiting Phuket and phiphi island next month, are the damages of the tsumani still visible?
Prob after 2 – 3 months after the terrible events everything was cleaned up. Alot of the places were up and running during the next week after the event.
Tourism dropped alittle but got back to normal after about 6 months.
Some of the Islands that got hit have had to do some building work on the shore where it was washed away, so thats really the only thing you will see. I was there during the Tsunami and helped with the clear up, alot of the places depending on the direction were never hit. The places that were you couldnt tell it happened.
