What is the cheapest way to get to Banthai Beach Resort on Patong Beach from Phuket International Airport?
I’m travelling to Phuket next month (June) and will stay in Banthai Beach Resort for the first few nights. I’ve booked the accommodation through asiarooms.com therefore airport transfer is not included in the reservation. I’ve emailed the hotel directly. They can arrange a hotel taxi service which will cost Baht700 per trip. Does Baht 700 sound reasonable from the airport to Patong beach? I’m wondering if it’ll be cheaper just to catch a local tuk tuk from the airport. Or what would be the best/cheapest way to get to the resort or just somewhere near it? Any info is very highly appreciated. Thanks!
700 baht is worth to pay for that. from the airport to Patong beach is more than 45 minutes on the taxi. It is the best choice for you or you can use the Airport Limo that cost you around 500-600 baht. Please Do Not pick the cheap they offered at the Airport. Many tourists used that serviced and the driver dropped them off in the middle of nowhere and ask for more money or you have to get the hotel from them,if not they will not take them to anywhere. I know this thing cuz one of my friend experience that. believe me.. every time I go there.. I will use only Airport Limo or hotel limo only…
