Can anyone who has taken the Star Cruise on Star Virgo tell me about their experience?
I am taking the Singapore-Penang-Phuket-Singapore 3N cruise. I have heard there are a lot of hidden surprises and costs once one is on board. Any experiences, good or bad, are welcome. Thanks.
I’ve taken virgo twice before a few years back. One is to open sea and the other one is to Port klang….. Have never been to phuket before but all my friends told me it is beautiful over there.
Virgo is one of the largest fleet which means that they provide many table games (casino).
You will have lots of fun when the ship is not docking at any ports. Free meals are provided at chinese , western restaurants ( based on coupons if i rem. correct ) and not forgetting the BUFFET !!!
These are free. there are some other chargeable restaurants if you want unique food and bars and lounges are the places you have to pay if want some booze.
since docking is done at Penang and Phuket, the cruise will provide shore excursions which is chargeable also. If you are in doubts, check out the excursions programmes once you board the ship so that you can plan and decide way before. Hope this helps.
