Suggestion on Thailand trip from 11th to 20th September (Ko samui and Phuket)
hi, this is my first time to visit thailand, and i will appreciate if you guys that been there before and got some experience advise me and give me some suggestions on my trip plan…..
i have direct flight to bangkok from dubai on 11th
on 13 i go (flight) to ko samui for ko phangan full moon party,
i stay 2 night for the party and island and on 15th i fly from ko samui to phuket, after 5 night stay in island and patang, i fly back to bangkok for 1 night stay then back to dubai!
in Bangkok, don’t miss:
-Grand Palace & nearby Wat Po where you can see giant gold reclining buddha
-Chinatown (Chinese food are great! excellent for shopping)
-and further more shopping in Siam Paragon, MBK, Gaysorn Plaza, Lumpini Park and local markets
- restaurants along the chaopraya river
Samui is one of the diver’s haven. The warm, tropical waters and beautiful coral reefs off the island make it perfect for scuba diving. Go on the full day speedboat trip to Koh Ang Thong Marine Park. I enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking and trekking to emerald lake (amazing!). Ang Thong was the place that inspired the film The Beach and is paradise on earth. For ur accommodation, I strongly recommend Muang Samui Spa Resort http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Hotels%20Map%20Pages/Samui%20Map/Chaweng%20Hotel%20Location%20Map.html
The location was perfect with all shopping, bars and restaurants at your doorstep, and provided a tranquil and dreamy escape from the day-to-day world. It is also set on a more beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms themselves were large, stylish, clean and had all the special touches. The resort is well maintained, is filled with beautiful greenery, little bridges and a creek running thru it. We found that the staff were always friendly and attentitive. The breakfasts were also sensational.
Have a nice trip.
Takeoff and Landings in Thailand. Boing 747 and Airbus A 340-600. 19553 km in 6 Minutes. Nice Video!
