Can anyone tell me what Bang Tao is like in Phuket?
I haven’t been to Thailand for 10 years (lived & worked in Ko Tao & Krabi back in ‘97). Want to stay somewhere nice & easy with the kids but not too western…
Bang Tao beach is nice, but is not going to give you a real “Thai experience” because it is cram-packed with 5-star resorts.
Go there and you’ll be pampered in a 5-star manner, but so would you at any other 5-star resort around the world. Hardly uniquely Thai.
